3 - 4 lb Salmon Filet ( skin on )
2 T. grated Fresh Ginger Root ( fine & course ground )
¼ C. Brown Sugar
2 sm. Or 1 lg. Garlic Clove
½ Stick or 8 T. Butter ( not Margarine )
¼ C. Soy Sauce
Mix ingredients and heat but Do Not Allow Mixture To Boil. Place fish on the grill ( low - med heat ), meat side down. Allow to lightly brown. Turn fish to skin side down, baste evenly with preheated ingredients. Cook for 8-10 min, then baste fish again. Cook approx 8-10 more min, remove when done. Cooking time will vary depending on thickness of the filet. Serve promptly, baste with remaining mixture before serving.
