Ingredients ½ c. Apple juice Glaze: 2 Tbsp. Margarine Glaze: ½ tsp. Vanilla Glaze: ¼ tsp. Salt Glaze: 5 Tbsp. Apple juice Glaze: 3 c. powdered sugar 2 c. chopped nuts 4 c. flour 2 c. chopped Apples 2 c. Raisins 1 tsp. Nutmeg 2 tsp. Cinnamon 2 tsp. Ground cloves 1 tsp. Salt 2 tsp. Baking soda 2 eggs 2 2/3 c. brown sugar 16 Tbsp. Margarine

Directions Cream together margarine, brown sugar, and eggs. Add baking soda, spices, and apple juice. Mix well. Gradually add flour, mixing well after each addition. Fold in apples, raisins, and nuts. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake @ 375 degrees for 10 - 12 minutes. To prepare glaze combine all ingredients and beat until smooth. With a knife spread warm cookies with glaze. Freeze between layers of waxed paper in a plastic container. Makes approx 5 dozen cookies.
