Ingredients 1 tsp. Salt 2/3 c. uncooked rice ¾ - 1 lb. Ground beef 1 medium onion - chopped ¼ tsp. Garlic granules Dash pepper ¼ tsp. Oregano 1 tsp. Parsley flakes 1 ½ c. cottage cheese ½ c. shredded cheese 2 c. tomato sauce

Directions Cook rice according to directions. Brown ground beef and onion in large skillet, drain excess fat. Add tomato sauce, garlic granules, sugar, salt, pepper, oregano, and parsley. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Combine cottage cheese and rice. Put 1/3 of rice mixture in greased 2 quart casserole dish. Top with 1/3 of meat-tomato sauce, continue to alternate layers, ending with tomato sauce. Sprinkle with shredded cheese. Bake @ 325 degrees for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
