Ingredients
½ cup butter
1 ½ grated Parmesan cheese
½ cup dried basil
1 ½ cups olive oil
½ tsp. garlic

Directions
Soak basil in ½ cup water until all water has been absorbed. Blend well (with blender or mortar & pestle or food processor) the nuts, basil, garlic and Parmesan cheese. While still blending add the oil, a little at a time. Add butter, one piece at a time, still blending, until the mixture becomes pasty. Press into a jar and refrigerate. To seal well, coat top with olive oil. Serve on piping hot pasta.
